This was actually my 1st cross country move so was unsure of what to expect. A search for cheap movers on reddit turned up Cheap Movers Club. I noticed others had a good experience with them and decided to call for a quote. The customer service rep was professional and helpful, and patiently explained everything about the process and what to expect. The price was very affordable and i confess, I didnt really shop around, it was in my budget and I was comfortable talking to the rep. The reservation and confirmation process was quick and easy. On moving day about 3 weeks later, I had a friendly but motivated 2 man moving crew show up to move my 2 bedroom condo. They wrapped everything with moving blankets and shrinkwrap and loaded the truck. They did charge me an extra $100.00 to box my T.V. and a mirror, which were larger pieces. We did some paperwork, I made a payment by Zelle and they were gone. Process took about 4 hours total. I received a call to expect delivery before shipment arriving about 3 days prior to delivery, which was about 17 days total, which occured in a much larger truck. Luckily had no access problems as we are on a major roadway. It looks like it was just one of a couple of shipments that were on there when they opened the doors, although they were separated with some kind of wall. Delivery occured without mishap, after my final payment, 2 guys did the unloading and brought things into the residence. I noticed one of my small bookshelves had a scratch on it after they left, but it was cheap so not an issue. Overall excellent experience.
